AUSCAN, Australian/Canadian Osteoarthritis Hand Index; data was missing for the following characteristics: AUSCAN Pain n = 130 (12.1%), AUSCAN Function n = 121 (11.2%), grip strength n = 10 (0.9%), pinch strength n = 20 (1.9%) and MHQ Appearance subscale n = 164 (15.2%).
