Isoflurane post-conditioning inhibits oxygen–glucose deprivation (OGD)-evoked caspase-3 activation. The neurons were grown in standard control conditions or subjected to 90 min of OGD with or without exposure to 1 h of isoflurane (ISO) post-conditioning.
