Inhibition of TRPC significantly attenuates norepinephrine-induced vasomotion in SHR. Vasomotion was induced by norepinephrine after depletion of sarcoendoplasmic reticulum calcium stores by 1 μmol/l thapsigargin (TG) in mesenteric arterioles from SHR under control conditions (A), in the presence of gadolinium (Gd3+) (B), 2-APB (C) or SKF96365 (D), in the presence of verapamil (E), or in the presence of verapamil plus Gd3+ (F), verapamil plus 2-APB (G) or verapamil plus SKF96365 (H).
