Cystic fibrosis (CF) epithelia show increased expression of microRNA (miR)–509–3p and miR-494. RNA harvested from well-differentiated primary epithelia (six donors per genotype) and freshly dissociated tracheobronchial epithelia (five donors per genotype) were profiled for microRNA (miRNA) expression using quantitative RT-PCR.
