EfnB2 does not colocalize with α–smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) in the lung. Colocalization using β-gal and the smooth muscle marker α-SMA suggests that within the fetal lung (Day E13.5, A–D) or adult lung (age 8 wk, E–G), EfnB2 is not expressed in smooth muscle cells.
