Omitted category for relationship of the deceased to current head of household includes parents, spouse and children. ‘Other’ relationships are: siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, sons- or daughters-in-law, other family and individuals not related to the current head of household. Household characteristics in columns 2 and 4 are household size, household asset holdings and the maximum number of years of education in the household (all measured in 2001).
