Supplementing miR-30e activity suppressed 3T3-L1 proliferation and favored adipocyte differentiation. miR-30e mimic transfection inhibited, whereas miR-30e inhibitor promoted cell growth (a and b). miR-30e mimics induced adipocyte formation in the presence of AIM. Oil Red O extracted with isopropanol was measured at OD510 (c and d).
