Generation of BP-like dermal-epidermal separation in mouse skin by NE. Neonatal mouse skin sections were incubated with NE at 37°C for 0 hours (a), 6 hours (b), 12 hours (c), or 24 hours (d–h) and were examined by H&E staining. Dermal-epidermal separation was observed starting 6 hours after incubation. The dermal-epidermal separation was blocked by NE inhibitor MeOSuc-AAPV-CK (f) and mBP180ABC antigen (g), but not by CG/chymase inhibitor Z-GLF-CK (h).
