The expression of interferon (IFN)-γ and interleukin (IL)-17A mRNA and their master transcription factors (T-bet and retinoic acid-related orphan receptor (ROR)γt, respectively) in the proximal colon in 1·5% dextran sodium sulphate (DSS)-induced colitis. The mRNA levels were determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
