Lung cells from saline-, mc²-, and mc²-CMX-treated animals were restimulated ex vivo with recombinant CMX, and the CD4⁺ T cells were analyzed for TNF-α and IFN-γ expression (n = 4; *p<0.05, different from the saline-vaccinated group). The results are representative of two independent experiments.
