Overall survival was compared according to methylation status of HS3ST2 in 193 node-negative stage I-II NSCLCs (A) and in 55 node-positive stage I-II NSCLCs (B). HS3ST2 hypermethylation in a group that do not have involvement of lymph node showed a significant adverse effect on overall survival (P = 0.04).
