ROS scavenging activity of APME. HepG2 cells were exposed to APME (5, 100 and 200 µg/mL) for 72 h. (A) To investigate the ability of APME to scavenge ROS, cells were treated with 250 mmol/L H2O2 for 30 min; (B) ROS generation was determined by H2DCFH and DHR123 in cells exposed to APME alone.
