Vertical activity is preserved following inhibition of PLCβ. DAT-KO mice were made dopamine deficient by treatment with αMPT (250 mg/kg, i.p.) and were placed in locomotor activity chambers. After 30 min, mice were treated with vehicle (VEH; N = 13) or U73122 (10 mg/kg, i.p.; N = 16). After another 30 min, all mice were injected with a combination of l-DOPA/carbidopa (50/50 mg/kg, i.p.).
