Comparison of surface adhesion molecule expression in endothelial cells from divergent vascular beds. Endothelial cells were left untreated or treated with TNF‐α (10 ng/mL), LPS (100 ng/mL), or IL‐1β (2.5 ng/mL) for 0, 4, or 24 hours, and surface levels of ICAM‐1 and VCAM‐1 were determined by surface ELISA.
