Tunicamycin-induced cardiac up-regulation of MT protein and cell death. Animal treatments and tissue collections are same as those described in Fig. 6. Cardiac MT contents were examined by Western blotting assay (A). Cardiac apoptotic cell death was examined for the cleaved caspase-3 by Western blotting analysis (B) and apoptotic cells with TUNEL staining (C).
