Ack1 is required for TRAIL-R1 clustering in a cell type-dependent manner. Monomeric and oligomeric forms of the TRAIL receptors were resolved by nonreduced SDS-PAGE followed by Western blot analysis of MCF10A (A) and NCI-H460 (B) cells after TRAIL treatment. Note that Ack1 knockdown prevented TRAIL-R1 oligomerization in MCF10A cells, but not in NCI-H460 cells. Ctrl, control.
