Exposure to A1254 affected cell viability in a concentration and time-dependent manner in C6 cells. (A) Cells were exposed to increasing concentrations of A1254 (0.05–90 μM) for 24 h in serum-free medium with 0.1% DMSO (vehicle). (B) C6 cells were treated with A1254 (3 or 9 μM) for 48 and 72 h. After incubation, cell viability was evaluated using the MTT assay, as described in Section 2.3. The cell viability was calculated vs untreated control cells, cultured in serum-free-DMEM with 0.1% DMSO (vehicle) at the respective time of incubation (24, 48 or 72 h) set as 100%.
