The negative logarithm of the molal solubility of the model compound in proline solutions (m2ss), normalized by its solubility in water (m2,oss), is plotted vs the molality of proline (m3). Data for cyclic dipeptides are from reference 21. Slopes of these plots are equal to µ23/RT (eq. 4). In all cases, m2,oss is obtained by extrapolation of the full data set to m3 = 0.
