BLI signal from a longitudinal study of ten mice, all of whom, based upon serial anatomic MR imaging studies, showed exponential growth of solid tumor without confounding hemorrhage or hydrocephalus. Two outliers, whose tumor growth was significant but whose optical signal declined early in the time course of growth, are noted.
