(A) Using a reduction in SUVearly of more than 25% after 2 weeks from the start of treatment correctly classified 10 out of 18 patients. With this SUV reduction criterion, seven patients in Short-OS would be misclassified as long-term survivors and one patient in Long-OS would be misclassified as a short-term survivor. (B) Discriminant analysis using changes in 18F-FLT kinetics was able to correctly classify all 18 patients in their true OS group. Note the complete separation of the discriminant scores between the two groups.
