Cells were incubated in a 96-well microplate for 24 h, treated with 3, 5, 10, or 20 μg/ml QDs or 0.5, 1, 1.5, or 2 μg/ml curcumin, respectively (A) and co-exposed to 3, 5, or 10 μg/ml QDs and 1 μg/ml curcumin (B). Untreated control, CON(−); negative control (treated with DMSO), CON(+). Cell viability was determined by the WST assay. Data are shown as percentages of the control, and error bars represent standard deviations (S.D.) of duplicate experiments.
