Retention time of genistein measured by HPLC. Overnight-fasted male mice (three to four mice per group) were given 50 mg·kg−1 genistein or distilled water by gavage, p.o. Blood samples were collected at 90 min after oral administration and anticoagulated with sodium citrate. The plasma concentration of genistein was measured by HPLC.
