Immediately after i.p. injection of IL-4C or PBS alone, C57BL/6 mice (3 animals/panel) received i.p. injection of thioglycollate. PEC samples harvested on Day 2 were incubated for 60 min at 37°C with live E.coli expressing GFP and then examined for GFP fluorescence signals within the Ly6G+/CD11c− neutrophil, Ly6G+/CD11c+ hybrid, and Ly6G-/CD11c+ conventional DC populations.
