Morphological alterations observed on both epimastigotes and trypomastigotes of Trypanosoma cruzi after 72 h of treatment with 50 µM of pepstatin A. Comparing with untreated epimastigotes, pepstatin A induced the swollen in cell body and detachment of the flagellum.
