Expression tests of archaeal transporters were performed in E. coli C43(DE3) and BL21 Star strains. Cells were grown in LB medium, induced with 0.5 mM IPTG at OD_600nm of 0.4-0.8 and harvested 3 hours post-induction. The bars show the OD_600nm at the time of induction (white) and harvesting (black).
