Immunotyrosine-based inhibitory motif-receptor signaling inhibits attachment in resting NK cells. Resting KIR2DL3+ (left) or NKG2A+ (right) NK cells were stained with PKH26 and plated on bilayers containing the indicated activating and inhibitory NK receptor ligands.
