Rats were treated with hypoxia or room air for 3 weeks while given injections of peptide or saline on day one and weekly thereafter. Hypertrophy was calculated by the right ventricular / left ventricle + septum (RV/LV+S) ratios. Data are means + SEM N=6-10 per group * P<0.05 vs hypoxic saline.
