Stage-dependent effects of chloroquine, artesunate, atovaquone, pyrimethamine and compounds 1, 2 and 3 on synchronous cultures ofPlasmodium falciparumstrain NF54. Cultures were exposed to 7 different concentrations of the compound for 24 h. After removal of the compounds, parasites were incubated for another 24 h in the presence of [3H]hypoxanthine.
