The wild-type Col-0 is shown at day 0 and day 7 following emergence of the sixth leaf in well-watered conditions or under moderate water stress (predawn water potential of -0.7 MPa), together with a mutant affected in the daytime translocation of chloroplastic photosynthates (tpt), starch metabolism (pgm), or starch utilization at night (sex1, bam1, bam3, bam1 bam3, dpe1, mex1, dpe2).
