The relative elongation rate of the sixth leaf was monitored for 8 days following its emergence in the wild-type Col-0 under well-watered conditions or under moderate soil water stress (predawn water potential of –0.7 MPa), as well as in the starchless mutant pgm under well-watered conditions.
