HeLa cells were transfected with siRNA SmartPools against either scrambled siRNA (control), GAPDH, Sx6, Sx16, or mVps45 and were incubated for 48 h after transfection before fixation and staining for tubulin/DAPI to allow quantification of the frequency of binucleate cells.
