(A, B) HT-29 cells were transfected with 50 nM of miR-126 mimic or negative control mimic for 48 h. Expression of miR-126 and IRS-1 mRNA in the total RNA of these cells was detected by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analysis. (C, D) HCT-116 cells were transfected with 100 nM of miR-126 inhibitor or negative control inhibitor for 48 h. Expression of miR-126 and IRS-1 mRNA in the total RNA of these cells was detected by qRT-PCR analysis. Data are presented as mean ± SEM of three independent experiments (*P<0.05, compared to that of negative control mimic treatment).
