RNA fraction enriched for small RNAs was isolated from livers of C57BL/6 and Keap1-KD mice that were placed on caloric restriction and miRNA expression was quantified from pooled RNA samples by RT2 -PCR using a Mouse Genome V2.0 miRNA array from SABiosciences as per manufacturer’s instructions. Data analysis was performed with the web-based software package for the miRNA PCR array system. (http://www.sabiosciences.com/pcr/arrayanalysis.php).
