Note. Bootstrapping indicated a significant a*b indirect effect of financial strain on cortisol through negative to positive affect index (95% CI = .001, .027). There was no significant indirect effect for either positive (95% CI = −.019, .002) or negative affect (95% CI = −.000, .017).
