Diosgenin (10 μmol/kg, i.p.) or vehicle solution was administered for 21 days to mice (males, 8 weeks old). The next day of the last administration day, an in vivo electrophysiological recording was performed under urethane anesthesia. (A) Spike firing frequencies and representative spike charts, (B) the percentage of bursts in firings were recorded from the mPFC and CA1. (C) Cross-correlation scores between the mPFC and CA1 were recorded in vehicle- or diosgenin-treated mice. (*p < 0.05, two-tailed paired t-test; n = 6 mice).
