(A) Co-immunoprecipitation assays showed that PCAF was bound with histone H4 directly; (B) Forced expression of PCAF increased acetylation of histone H4 and AKT phosphorylation in both Huh7 and HepG2 cells, and knockdown of PCAF in Hep3B cells deacetylated histone H4 and activated AKT signaling.
