TRFLP community profiles of archaeal 16S rRNA genes from different soil samples. The community composition was characterized in a selection of in situ and incubated soil samples from the three vegetation belts, the lateral moraines in Tsomoriri Plains and the frontal moraines in Nubra Valley. For the incubated samples technical replicates were analyzed. Means ± SE of n = 2 (technical replicates).
