In an anterior-posterior view of a single subject (subject 1), aberration correction enables visualization of proximal MCAs bilaterally where these vessels could not be visualized before correction. Correction also brings out the S-shaped curve of the carotid siphon (segments C2–C3) portion of the internal carotid artery. (MCA=middle cerebral artery, ICA=internal carotid artery)
