Model 1 is unadjusted. Model 2 is adjusted for age, gender, and race. Model 3 is adjusted as for model 2 plus BMI. Model 4 is adjusted for model 3 plus physical activity, vegetable or fruit consumption, smoking status, and alcohol consumption. Model 5 is adjusted as for model 4 plus mutual adipomyokines as indicated below. R² represents the adjusted R² values of each model. The β-values are unstandardized regression coefficients, and standardized β-values are standardized regression coefficients.
