Binding specificity of selected phages from the Ph.D.-12TM Phage display peptide library. Wells of 96-well microtitre plates were coated with Avastin mAb, control antibodies or BSA by incubation at 4°C overnight and blocked with 1% BSA in TBS. Affinity-selected phage were added to the wells, allowed to bind at room temperature for 2 h and determined at OD490. Phage 1: phage plaques displaying peptide DHTLYTPYHTHP; Phage 2: phage plaques displaying peptide NHFGKFLDALAG; Control phage: uncombined phage in the first round of panning. All assays were carried out in triplicate and the error bars indicate standard deviation.
