(A) Diagram of the full-length molecular cloning method. (B) Replication capability of full-length clone pXJDC2-7 on human PBMCs. pNL4-3 derived virus was used as the positive control. Viral replication was monitored by quantifying OD value in the culture medium at defined time points using a commercial p24 antigen-capture ELISA. (C) Viral infectivity produced from co-transfection of clade BC envelope expression plasmid CH120.6 and either the full-length molecular clone. pSG3 ΔEnv HIV-1 backbone plasmid was used as positive control. The data are shown as the mean relative light unit (RLU) with standard deviation from four independent experiments.
