Results are expressed by means ± SEM *significant vs untreated NTg group (p ≤ 0.05); **significant vs untreated 3xTg-AD group (p ≤ 0.05). Treated NTg significances vs other groups are omitted as no significant effects were found upon treatment. Significance values were calculated via Mann-Whitney test. aLength refers to that of the monolayer (Purkinje Cells Layer) in mm and cellular density refers the number of PC per unit of length.
