Notes: This figure displays all birth cohorts that are used in our subsequent analysis. The 2000 and 2003 pension reforms implemented an increase in the eligibility age for an early retirement pension to age 65 for men (effective at birth cohort 10/1952) and age 60 for women (effective at birth cohort 10/1957).
