Lipid accumulation determined by Oil red-O staining in peritoneal macrophages. To inhibit BMP4, peritoneal macrophages were incubated with Noggin (150 ng/ml) for 3h. After pretreatment of Noggin, cells were incubated with or without BMP4 (100 ng/ml) in the presence or absence of oxLDL (15 μg/ml) for 20 h.
