Crest factors of RP complexes at 100-Hz F0 passed through the auditory filter bank. The RP complex chosen for the experiment had crest factors that were significantly lower than the reference. Flattened RP complexes were also particularly flat but not different from the RP complexes chosen in phase 2 (i.e. the experimental stimuli).
