CRF-R2 mRNA was quantified relative to placebo (A–C), and baseline (D and E). No differences were seen in any group with respect to placebo (A–C). CRF-R2 mRNA expression was significantly higher than baseline following seven days of abstinence (D). There were no differences in the placebo groups compared to baseline (E). Data indicate mean ± SEM. ## P < 0.01 vs. baseline by Student’s t-test.
