(A) BHK-T7 cells were transfected with cores (all lanes), control siRNA (lanes 1 and 5), M3siRNA (lanes 2–4 and 6–8), and pT7M3RZ-si (lanes 3 and 7) or pT7M3(78-79)RZ-si (lanes 4 and 8). Cell lysates were collected at 24 h p.t. (lanes 1–4) and 48 h p.t. (lanes 5–8) and used for plaque assays (A) and immunoblot analysis (B). Samples were adjusted relative to the cores + M3siRNA sample (lanes 2 and 6) and the relative numbers were averaged from three experimental replicates with standard error of the averaged samples shown.
