Sensitivities of wild-type and mutant GS proteins to inhibition

The IC50 is the inhibitor concentration that reduces enzymatic activity by 50%. The Mg2+-dependent biosynthetic reaction was used to measure the inhibition. All values are the averages of at least two determinations. The S.E. values were less than 10% for all values. The values for the wild-type and E304A enzymes are taken from Ref. 40.
