The logarithms of the ΔCT for matrix metalloproteinase 2 and 9 (Mmp2 and 9), tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase 1 (Timp1), and NADPH Oxidase 2 (Nox2) expression in thoracic aorta, extracellular 2-hydroxyethidium (2-OH-Et) and ethidium (ET) in mesenteric arterioles, body weight at sacrifice (SacBW) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) were compared using correlational analysis. The values in each cell from top to bottom represent the Pearson correlation coefficient, p-value and number of measurements; respectively. Boldface = significance at p<0.05. ΔCT= difference in cycle threshold.
