Pelvis-shaped deformable phantom. Dental plaster was used to represent the bony structures. Balloons were placed to simulate the bladder and intestines, a prostate-shaped polystyrene object (not visible in this figure) was glued to the bladder balloon and a plastic bag full of glass breads was used to simulate the colon. The size of the balloons was changed by injecting a water-iodine soap solution.
